Tips and Links for Online Tutoring

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

Hello Everyone,

With the current global health crisis, you may be wondering how to continue tutoring your students and what to do during potential hiatuses.

Online tutoring is a strong alternate to in-person tutoring.

Here are a couple tips and links to student resources:

1. Set up an online platform: Utilize an online platform that allows you to schedule student sessions, provide face to face session times, and upload documents for both student learning and tracking of progress. Google Hangouts and Google Drive/Docs are good options.

2. Providing additional resources to families for between sessions: Providing additional resources for families for between sessions will keep momentum going for student learning as well as increase connectivity with families.

The following companies have amazing resources for building student confidence and/or learning of core subjects.

What are some strategies you are implementing for your tutoring business during COVID-19?

Take care and stay healthy.
